This makes it more than easy to place a small gabion cage in your garden and plant some alpine plants between the gaps in the rocks, then surround the edges with smaller rocks or stones to camouflage the exposed wire of the gabion cage.

As retaining walls, they have many desirable qualities; for example, they have the strength and stature to hold any sloping earth behind the wall, whilst their excellent drainage properties means there’s less risk of flooding or corrosion caused by soil and water runoff.
